Callum is a solicitor in the London office with a background advising in professional negligence, construction and insurance matters, both in the UK and internationally.
Callum has obtained wide ranging experience acting in pre-action and litigated claims against contractors and construction professionals, including engineers, architects and quantity surveyors. He is also experienced in a variety of alternate dispute resolution methods. In addition, Callum has a background dealing with financial risk claims, involving accountants, directors & officers, brokers and surveyors.
Callum was previously seconded to the Professional Indemnity and Financial Lines team of a major international insurance firm. Whilst on secondment, Callum handled a range of construction and financial risk claims, and was able to develop a valuable understanding of the commercial considerations that insurers face. He was also able to gain experience dealing with policy coverage matters and handling claims on Primary and Excess layer policies, as Lead or Follow insurer.
